Tariq Alyamani

Dr. Tariq Alyamani joined Nephrology Specialists of Oklahoma in 2024. He sees patients at the Utica Office and serves as the Medical Director for the DaVita Broken Arrow and DaVita McAlester dialysis programs. In addition, he directs the Home Dialysis Program at DaVita McAlester.

Dr. Alyamani maintains active hospital privileges at Hillcrest Medical Center, Hillcrest South, St. Francis Hospital, and Ascension St. John Hospital. His practice encompasses a broad and diverse patient population, providing comprehensive kidney care across the full spectrum of nephrology.

His medical journey began at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan, where he earned his medical degree. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Hamad edical Corporation (affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College in Doha, Qatar) and at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. He then pursued fellowship training in Nephrology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he further refined his expertise in kidney health.

Dr. Alyamani is passionate about all aspects of nephrology and strongly believes in the importance of education to improve kidney health and patient well-being. He is particularly dedicated to expanding access to high-quality kidney care for rural communities in Oklahoma.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Alyamani enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the beautiful outdoors of Oklahoma, and traveling.
